The following article provides a great example of why a person needs to stay on top of their finances at all times. The processing systems of large financial institutions in Canada are designed to accommodate tens of thousands of loans. Unfortunately, those same systems do not work so well in catering to individual problems. To reverse an initially small error is often a major undertaking, once that error has moved has propagated through the financial system. If you find yourself in a similar situation it may be beneficial to work with a group that has experience in communicating the issue to the lender. Working with a group that knows how to bypass some of the low level administration in order to resolve the problem will save you a lot of headaches in the long run.
